lmfao i dont think the royal albert hall is the venue to crowd surf unfortunately

although the thought of me surfing to the front whilst gaga sings bang bang is quite funny lol

Then at least throw something on stage, say GGD loves you.

is that allowed lmfao

I'm not sure if this is correct but apparently you can walk up toward the stage at the end, but I just watched Adele & Emeli Sande videos on YouTube when they played the RAH and they just walk off LOL

I am sure other fanbases are emotional when their favourite releases something as well. Maybe we are just getting more intense excitement.

I was hyped for so many events the past years it's unbelievable. November 2009 was crazy and I refreshed like crazy waiting for the historical landmark that Bad Romance MV is. I also waited for the Skype Ball (the meltdowns were vicious :derpga:), the BTW single release (where it destroyed every single iTunes chart in the world).

I will always remember 14th August 2012 when she came here to perform her BTWB. The whole day was like a dream. And the greatest thing was that I connected emotionally with so many little monsters from around the world. I was so hyped that I needed at least a week after the show to come down to Earth :messga:

I always say I won't listen to her leaked albums before their official release but I always end up doing it. The excitement is always so big that I am not sure whether to destroy the repeat button on the track on the album I am currently listening or to continue and hear the other new tracks.

I just really look forward to this kind of excitement with her new POP album in 2016 (please no more pauses :crossed:)

Bad Bromance

Did you feel this way as well? The first time I listened to a song premiere was Born This Way and I reacted almost the same way when I first heard it. And then when I heard Judas I was shocked even more. I can't remember my exact reaction but it was ecstatic.

It's so much fun being a Lady Gaga fan, it doesn't have to be a new track, it can be a performance, an announcement (especially the Gaga tradition: THE SINGLE, THE ALBUM kind of announcement), I don't think other fanbases experience what we experience. I think it's such an enjoyable and unique feeling and not many artists actually have the influence to make someone feel this way. The only person that I can think of is Michael Jackson. There's a reason why some people call little monsters a cult.

My Applause VMA performance reaction was just like them, I slapped the desk so many times like how Gaga did to her piano during her Born This Way AOTY Grammy nomination announcement when I first saw it. My other huge reaction was when I knew Gaga won the Grammy award for Cheek to Cheek, I did the same thing and can't stop smiling afterwards. The most recent one was the Oscar performance. I NEVER SAW THAT COMING. I thought it was going to be some ordinary singing performance like how she did for Lush Life and Bang Bang. But then I WAS WROOOOOOONG. I couldn't recognize her voice, couldn't believe she wore that elegantly, her vocals didn't sound like her vocals and I had tears in my eyes at the end. I was so moved not by the song but by the fact that she has grown so much as an artist. I knew from that moment she reached a whole new level that we never thought existed before. The Oscar performance was one of my proudest moments as a Lady Gaga fan.

I CAN'T WAIT TO BE SLAYED BY THE NEXT ONE.

I don't know how she does it but the one moment that left me dumbfounded was when I heard her angelic yet powerful voice during The Oscars performance.  Like, I already knew Gaga had some powerful vocals and that she can actually sing.  I mean, Gaga's whole fan base knows that but I was completely blown away when she sang in the same key as Dame Julie Andrews!!!

Never in my wildest dreams did I think Gaga could sing in that key with such finesse and control.  She truly cemented herself as a living legend that night.  By the time she finished singing and I saw the standing ovation she received from Hollywood royalty, I was in tears.  That's when it hit me that I am damn proud to be a Little Monster and to stan for the one and only - Lady Gaga.

I don't care what you think about unless it is about me.

True. I never quite succeeded in not listening to her work before its official release. I remember I told myself to only listen to Donatella, Fashion! and G.U.Y. when I got the physical copy of ARTPOP but I ended up listening to their intros and skipped to the choruses then quickly stopped it to just get a glimpse of it.

What's the Skype Ball? I wasn't here in 2012. :emma:

Me too, I already started having tears before she started singing 'My Favorite Thing'. I had instant flashbacks of the rough moments she underwent in the ARTPOP era, critics criticizing the album and her, the underperformance of the songs, the lack of singles, all the blackouts that happened, and then I just saw her flourish like this, literally like a phoenix rising from the ashes, shining and illuminating the whole world in front of the Oscar actors, I couldn't be any more touched and prouder.

I don't think anyone can feel what I feel, like I said, it wasn't just the music which moved my heart but the experience that I've gone through with her since Day 1 of ARTPOP.

There was something like an interview or a Q&A while she was doing her BTWB tour and Skype was a sponsor as far as aI remember. Skype organized a live chat with Gaga. There were so many technical difficulties, the beginning didn't have sound and picture, later we got the video but with no sound and when everything finally started to come along she kinda left abruptly. The meltdowns here were really something :laughga: You can try and find it on youtube if it is still there 29vbfjd.png

Yes, awkward would be the word that best describes this experience

Oh yes I've seen this and they call this The Skype Ball? :emma:

I thought that was going to be the core image for ARTPOP.

Because, aside from being a superb musician and a vocalist, she is also a devout student of theatre.

And theatre is all about connection, viscera, and the element of surprise. She and her team, especially when they're on the same page, instinctively know what the audience is expecting and they find tiny (or big) ways to subvert those expectations.

I hope these elements are all taken into their consideration when they start presenting us the next one.
