Dangerous Man 9,245
The Superbowl committee should be even thankful if our legendary queen accept their offer to perform on their overrated halftime show. badgalriri 1,124
but lets ask ourselves this, how many threads will we make on this every year
BuzzcutSeason 3,307
It's our opinion if Katy's halftime was good. Nuff Said. But anyway, i see her doing this in like 2017. after her new album, after a few hits off that, before or after the big tour.
Woolfsmck 2,763
No, I'd rather she play in the superbowl as an offensive lineman. (I don't even know what an offensive lineman is, I just know it's the only football position I know.) An offensive lineman is a player who talks a lot of smack and stinks really nasty.. hence he is offensive like a cat in a sil, I observe life, moving and still. Ethereal Mess 603
It would be great if she did it but I heard that if you are performing there you will have to lipsync??
LeoFameMonster 1,592
And? That doesn't mean that she is a official supporter of Pepsi either. Obviously, Coke will not always have Taylor promoting them, as she is not the only one who supports/promotes them. That's your opinion and I respect it. However, where did I in my post compared Katy to Gaga? Don't change the subject. Why do you feel like you need to compare Katy to Gaga to prove your point? Just petty. It looks like you can't come up with a coherent argument and response at all. Katy's performance broke records and made history. A lot of things that Katy did in her performance weren't done by other entertainers in SB Halftime show history (riding a big lion as the entry, flying around the stadium, and etc...) and some people actually have started copying some of the elements from Katy's performance. Example: http://youtu.be/rTR6omcvSmY Not only that, but Katy's performance is the most watched Halftime show of all time with 118.5 million views (which was more than the actual SuperBowl game views: 114 million) and it is the highest rated/ranked Halftime show ever in history as well. Katy's performance received a lot of critical acclaim from critics and majority of the GP too. Katy got and still gets a lot of praise for her performance. Again, you're entitled to your (not so popular) opinion, but that doesn't mean that other people (including Little Monsters who liked Katy's performance) should share the same opinion as you do. And last but not least, Katy wasn't caught lip syncing at the NRJ awards in 2013. There was a technical difficulty and NRJ awards host and staff even apologized to Katy for the mistake that they made. She wasn't caught fake playing a flute either. Katy did that on purpose in 1st few shows of the California Dreams Tour. Hunny Boo boo why you fighting with everyone on here? My argument / points are coherent that is why you can read them and comment back on them. Also she did get caught lip syncing, you sound like Ashley Simpson blaming it on someone else lmao she came out singing at the wrong time and the playback in her ear piece didn't match the stage music and her mic was off so she can lip sync. Or wait her mic was faulty and it was a conspiracy that is why you can't hear her voice right!? all make sense now why you think Her SB was good. I get you like Katy Perry and that is fine. We don't see eye to eye and that is fine as well, I think shes a bit cheap and that is what she gave me in the SB. I just have a higher standard because of Gaga, after the last 7 years of watching Gaga most others especially Katy seems lack luster and cheap to me. But I am glad you liked her SB, I know you will love Gaga's
LoveandMagic 1,731
I'd love for her to perform, I bet she would put out such a killer set. But I agree with others it's likely that Taylor will do it next year. She's a huge super music star at the moment, a very very popular choice I think. Then they will probably want to break up the cycle a bit with a male performer or band, which is fine too. I would like to see Gaga do it in the next few years though. I haven't much cared for a lot of the past performers (nothing really against them, I just didn't enjoy their show). I really want Gaga because I feel she will excite me, even if it's just her sitting on stage with a piano (though I imagine there will be quite a few theatrics involved). She has such a radiant persona and magical voice. She could do practically anything on stage. Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax." Rae 86
From what I remember from past topics - HTS / One comment was made that you can only do the HTS once. So if that is true lets wait for Gaga. Gaga will know and her manager well know when the time is right.
Cherry 17
She would obviously put on a very entertaining show, but it won't happen anytime soon unless she stages a major career/image overhaul. Notice a trend with the people who typically perform at the Super Bowl: artists who appeal to wide demographics. Bruno Mars may not have a large dedicated fanbase, but his music is the definition of "middle of the road." Katy Perry and Beyoncé appeal to children, teenagers, and adults. Madonna is a legacy artist who has fans from her "Virgin" days as well as younger fans of her new music.Gaga is quickly starting to become a niche artist, to be frank. She's become less mainstream and more quirky, and people don't really seem to "get" her anymore. If something doesn't change soon, all she's going to have are the monsters, and while that's not necessarily a bad thing, it's not going to get her a Super Bowl spot. Houdini 103
Her chances are over I think. She's not so trending as she used to be and she doesn't have enough the ''legend'' aspect as the Halftime show required if they don't choose a very trending act. It's either a very popular artist/group or it's an artist with a long career with many recognitions. Gaga is between both, she's in a kind of invisible zone for the organizers.I know I'm right
BurberryKisses 43
I dont think she should. She is not a family-friendly act. And let's be real if she played You and I for 15 minutes it would become kind of boring by the 10th minute....I mean think about her hits...other than telephone and alejandro she couldn't even perform any on them in that showYes, because 'I Kissed a Girl' was totally family friendly... Gaga could totally do 'The Edge of Glory', 'Applause', 'Marry The Night', and 'Gypsy'. Of COURSE she'll do 'Poker Face', 'Paparazzi', and 'Bad Romance'. The GP would go crazy with the amount of theatrics she'd put in. It would be bad ass.

Iwontell 7,312
I hope Gaga doesn't do it for a long while...she should just avoid unnecessary rivalry - and let's face it, if she was picked up to do it so soon there would be all kinds of idiotic comparisons.Just let Taylor do it and and keep her feud with Katy going... ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you.
