Katsuki Bakugo 9,788
OF COURSE! I HOPE THEY LET HER DO IT ( Billboard said that gaga wasnt appropiate as she was too gay)That would be defining for her career and her relationship with the GP.Yet Katy is the one with Candied boobs...go figure If All You Ever Do Is Look Down On People, You Won't Be Able To Recognize Your Own Weaknesses. Houdini 103
Her chances are over I think. She's not so trending as she used to be and she doesn't have enough the ''legend'' aspect as the Halftime show required if they don't choose a very trending act. It's either a very popular artist/group or it's an artist with a long career with many recognitions. Gaga is between both, she's in a kind of invisible zone for the organizers. Joemayzin 4,021
i see a lot of good points on here but isn't the Super Bowl a pepsi sponsored event, i don't think gaga is an official sponsor of coke but i have seen her drink it before shows and she did advertise diet coke cans in her hair for telephone. it might not be the official reason but i feel gaga appears to be team coke then pepsi
Dominikko 355
Yes but not now. She needs recent hits and not rely on her past songs. I don't think she's gonna do the SB soon.

Kacey Elizabeth 900
As I said in another thread, the last time Taylor did promo for Diet Coke was almost a year ago and they pulled out as tour promoters a few months before the opening Tokyo shows of the 1989 tour. And? That doesn't mean that she is a official supporter of Pepsi either. Obviously, Coke will not always have Taylor promoting them, as she is not the only one who supports/promotes them. I just like to keep it real. The only star other than Missy was the Lion she road in on Other than that it was underwhelming to say the least. Don't believe me, just look up how many talked about Oscars vs Katy Super bowl on google trends. And Katy barely moved any records for that performance. But katy did do a good job of picking her guest ill give her that, She talented in that case. Im not in denial boo boo, I don't know how a Gaga fan can think that was any good? Have you never seen a Gaga performance? lol only entertaining Katy performance IMO is when she got caught lip syncing on tv and fake playing a flute now that was entertaining miss perry!!! That's your opinion and I respect it. However, where did I in my post compared Katy to Gaga? Don't change the subject. Why do you feel like you need to compare Katy to Gaga to prove your point? Just petty. It looks like you can't come up with a coherent argument and response at all. Katy's performance broke records and made history. A lot of things that Katy did in her performance weren't done by other entertainers in SB Halftime show history (riding a big lion as the entry, flying around the stadium, and etc...) and some people actually have started copying some of the elements from Katy's performance. Example: http://youtu.be/rTR6omcvSmY Not only that, but Katy's performance is the most watched Halftime show of all time with 118.5 million views (which was more than the actual SuperBowl game views: 114 million) and it is the highest rated/ranked Halftime show ever in history as well. Katy's performance received a lot of critical acclaim from critics and majority of the GP too. Katy got and still gets a lot of praise for her performance. Again, you're entitled to your (not so popular) opinion, but that doesn't mean that other people (including Little Monsters who liked Katy's performance) should share the same opinion as you do. And last but not least, Katy wasn't caught lip syncing at the NRJ awards in 2013. There was a technical difficulty and NRJ awards host and staff even apologized to Katy for the mistake that they made. She wasn't caught fake playing a flute either. Katy did that on purpose in 1st few shows of the California Dreams Tour. Your Candy Perfume Girl

JanPianoMusic 730
Not the 2016 SB though, maybe the year after that, if the first two singles from her 2016 album (?) do well on the charts and fit that type of performance(I just imagined Gaga entering the arena by drone, send help) You will never please everyone. You were saying Taylor could not do the Super Bowl because she's with Diet Coke. I told you she may be out of that contract, therefore Pepsi might snatch her up. Besides, Beyonce, Katy and Bruno were not supporters of Pepsi until after they were announced as entertainers for the Halftime. Madonna didn't even support Pepsi. So that doesn't mean anything. And I don't get why you're so bothered, it's just my wish on who I'd like for the HT next year.I suggest you take your constant naysaying and shove it because it's really supper annoying. who will love me when the night is over

She even did a Pepsi commercial back in 1989 for Like A Prayer. Katy had a free premiere concert back in 2012 for her Part Of Me documentary which was sponsored and presented by Pepsi. And wasn't Beyonce in a Pepsi commercial with Britney and P!nk back in 2003? Don't worry, I won't take suggestions from someone like you. Ans Pepsi sponsored that Part of Me concert way before Katy was even Superbowl material lol. You know exactly what I meant by "they were not supporters of Pepsi until after they were announced" but whatever, keep trying and stay salty. who will love me when the night is over
Whispering 18,865
As I said in my other post, "Taylor has a deal with Coke, not Pepsi, which supports and presents SuperBowl games and their Halftime shows and their performers, so Taylor's chance of performing at SuperBowl Halftime is extremely slim". Oh please, sponsorships change from year to year and if Taylor agreed to do the Super Bowl, they would be falling over themselves to make it happen! Taylor will do the SB, when she has time and whenever she wants to do it. She may not want to do it right now, though, since she is at the top right now. Her album sales are increasing with each album and she's had more pop hits this era than ever before. I could see her waiting a few years.
Whispering 18,865
As to Gaga and the Super Bowl... I don't think it would be a good idea at this time. She's rebuilding her brand in other ways and as we saw with Katy Perry, the results aren't always that great compared to the amount of time and money it takes to put on a halftime show. However, if the decision was made for Gaga to do the halftime show, I'm sure she would have a spectacular show and deliver on the performance and the vocals.
