OBEY 57,109
http://www.celebrity-gossip.net/snoop-dogg/snoop-dogg-akon-helping-africa-while-caitlyn-jenner-“science-project”-1237675 While most of the celebrity reaction to Caitlyn Jenner's unveiling has been positive, Snoop Dogg isn’t a fan of all the media attention. The “Gin and Juice” rapper took to his Instagram page to express his discontent regarding the internet’s obsession with the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star’s gender transition while ignoring Akon's support of the Lighting Africa charity. Snoop wrote, “Shout out to Akon! He is about to supply 600 million Africans with solar power. I’m really upset that this isn’t major news but that science project Bruce Jenner is #Society,” followed by, “News flash. @akon tune in to ggn for some real news.” Lighting Africa “seeks to provide a concrete response at grass roots level to Africa’s energy crisis and lay the foundations for future development.”

GawdGa 1,399
sad to see desperate people juicing caitlyn's recent events for attention ☠
Morphine Prince 106,041
Not surprised. It's hilarious because if the Vanity Fair cover hadn't came out, people still wouldn't give a **** about Akon. Everyone is pretending like he would get all the praise and attention. NO, he would NOT. Akon has done an incredible thing for these people and you know what? When you do some sort of charitable action you shouldn't expect praise. That's not what it's about.
Alii 2,039
I feel like many people have been using her to gain relevancy again. It is actually a good thing in a way.
Vernier 3,786
It's not an either/or thing. Both events can and should be praised. What Akon did was(understandably) not publicized(as that would defeat the purpose) which is why no one was really commenting on it Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn
Luiz 4,253
akon did jenner get a s-x change? i know shes got the tits and all but how about the full change yet? i dont get the science part I disapprove of what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it. artRaver 3,188
There's no need to put down one subject and be like "Hey! There's XYZ going on why don't we talk about that instead of ABC!" Ugh... I hope he smokes angel dust laced weed. ✿ cherry blossom girl ✿
Hexxx 2,244
I think Solar Power in Africa is more important than some lost and found adult named Caitlyn Lady Gaga/ Madonna/Lana /Azealia Banks/ Jazmine Sullivan/ DEEE-LITE/ Moko
PoshLife 16,983
It was very wrong of him to say that, but I do understand his frustration. Akon is doing something very important, and while that doesn't mean we should be praising him and only him, it does merit attention because it's a really important story. But honestly American consumers of media don't really care about Africa, so I understand why nobody has been focusing on it. It wouldn't get views, thus wouldn't get ad dollars.
Lady Palutena 3,147
Charity means doing something out of the goodness in your heart, not doing it for praise and media attention. Adoremus in caelum, Palutena. Dea luminis.
NewYorkCity 10,536
your poor brain is not even profitable for a science project.
Arturo 40,746
Celebrate Akon's good deed WITHOUT bringing up something else just because you're lowkey salty about it.He wouldn't have even mentioned Akon if he wasn't mad over Caitlyn's media attention. Oscar 1,031
It was insensitive to call a human a "science project." He has every right to be mad with society because whether I agree with it or not, this is a fair reason to be angry about. That doesn't mean he could be a jerk though.
