A bit on the late side but Madonna was great in Amsterdam :nick: I was a bit pissed initially at her being about 50 mins late (although I expected it) but that disappeared cus of how great the show was.

What are you talking about?! Shes been pretty much earlier than mdna through out The tour and there has only been like now three "issues" that really delayed The show. Like in Manchester where The screen didnt work

In London she was fashionably late, which is okay given how late she comes out sometimes, but in Zurich she started at 10:30. So one hour and a half late. We knew about it when we were inside the venue, waiting for the show to start at 9-ish. I got out of the arena at 1:20 AM. I'm all for defending Madonna and all that stuff, but sometimes imo the stan goggles need to come off. Yes she doesn't OWE!!!!!!"!11 us anything and maybe the Manchester lateness really was due to a technical problem, but I think it's kind of disrespectful. Like, why are we in the wrong for wanting her to come out on time-ish and she isn't for sometimes coming out 2 hours late?

who will love me when the night is over

I hope next time a technical issues happens, she just cancels! Seems like people would rather have that happen instead of waiting for the problem to be eradicated. Personally, if I was in her position, I wouldn't even go back to Manchester on my next tour because of how disrespectful the "fans" have been over the unavoidable technical issues. Act like pathetic whiny children, get treated like them.

She didn't have to make up for Manchester at all. She did her best. People lost 3 songs because of the curfew and she had to pay a fine anyway.

If it was someone else with a crashed video, they would cancel the show last minute. Look what happened with 1D recently? That was ridiculous. Madonna hates cancelling.

It wasn't an easy show for M. The video crashed, she hit her head on the stage, and there was the curfew issue. So all and all, she did amazing by still giving an amazing show. Audiences are not all the same, and people were simply nasty there.

It was a joke.

It's totally understandable if the show starts late due to technical reasons, but I think that in order to dismiss the "boo's", a person from the crew should just inform the audience that the show will start at .... due to techincal difficulties. Otherwise, people (idk why) always really do start thinking that M is just a huge diva and doesn't want to start yet. Therefore the boo's start.

At Manchester we were told that the show would end at 11.30 but it wasn't clear to the non-stans whether that was late or early or w/e

This was at about 9PM when people were already impatient after an hour of that tragic DJ

Usually, the organisers of the event or the arena itself posts the start times of the show on their FB page on the day of the show. For example, for my show in Prague, the arena posted that Madonna comes on stage at 9.30 pm. She came on at 10.05pm. There were a few boo's from the crowd during those 45 minutes of waiting but the crowd was pumped so the boo's really were just desperate cheers :D

But in my opinion, if the page has posted that the show will start at 9.30pm but it doesn't start at that time, a person should just walk on the stage with a mic and tell everyone that the show is gonna start at f.e. 10pm due to technical reasons. There would be no boo's and no disappointment from the audience then.

People who start booing already after 8pm because it's a time written on the ticket should just stfu and learn that that time is for the opening act if there is one. (It even said Opening act: 8.00 on my ticket though)

Yes, I got that -- sorry if my reply came out somehow on the defensive.

Have you guys seen what happened in Glasgow? The show started at 9.39 and at 11.30 they turned on the lights and shut down the screens and sound. So what did Madonna do?

She just performed Holiday without screens or mic. God, I love her '**** the rules' attitude. This woman is everything.

I can only imagine: "They are shutting me down?! **** them. I am still finishing the show in my terms."

Here is the clip:

I wish I was there. This made this show truly special. The fans loved it and sang the entire song with her.

The audience was really good, but apparently people working in the arena were not really nice, telling fans to sit down instead of dancing as was "a seated event".

Oh, and she wore a Santa hat.:)

And here is she leaving the show after it ended:

Her fault for being late lmfao

Well, yes and no. Apparently, there was no curfew whatsoever.

The issue seems to be lack of communication between people working in the arena, that took the "Bye Bitches" after UB literally and shut everything down.

In any case, it worked and people loved it and it just showed what a trooper she is. You can take her the screens, the sound and the mic, but she still finished the show.
