not to sound terribly racist, but why do a lot of members in the black community do this?? i even saw cherry chepard on the view with the same backwards transphobic mind set. and from a community continuously struggling as well, this is disappointing.

"shades caitlyn" i think you meant "timbaland completely disrespects caitlyn's existence through a mode of prejudice that trans people have fought, campaigned and died to end"

"shades caitlyn" i think you meant "timbaland completely disrespects caitlyn's existence and reveals himself to be transmisogynstic in addition to the embarrassment he already subjects himself to for being completely untalented."

I haven't heard anything about Timbaland in like 5+ years :omfgaga:

He worked on the Empire soundtrack.

The person I haven't heard anything from prior to their reaction to CJ was Drake Bell... All sorts of celebrities are commenting on Caitlyn Jenner's transition, and it's good to know who's transphobic and who's not.

(I wonder when Tumblr's gonna drag Timbaland tho.)

Many black people are religious, and religion often goes hand-in-hand with social conservatism. With that said, it is kinda racist to hone in on the black community when all sorts of people can be transphobic. I mean, nobody would say something about the white community because Drake Bell tweeted something transphobic. It's more of a cis vs. trans issue. Cis people of all races tend to have problems with or at least have misconceptions about trans people. ALSO, being a member of an oppressed group doesn't stop you from oppressing others. Looking at the divisions within the LGBT community is enough proof (cis vs. trans, gender-conforming vs. gender-deviant, monos-xuals vs. bi/pan/polys-xuals, white vs. of color, skinny/fit vs. fat, etc.).

I'm not a woman. I'm not a man. I am something that you'll never understand.

Oh is he that guy that made the king of pop's last album flop?

Thought so...
