Watching her tour DVD, she moves around so much it seems impossible to follow a teleprompter too. Its much easier for a jazz show. I can recite the lyrics to hundreds of songs that I have never wrote and haven't listened to for weeks. Age is irrelevent. Age is relevant when you're 88. She's standing still during acoustic set and TP is right in front of her. You're not a professional singer with years of experience in touring, singing same songs in front of thousands of people in arenas and stadiums. How well fans memorize songs is irrelevant. Tony may be 88 but that doesn't mean his mind is fading. I am not here to defend anyone, but please define fading? On average, an 88 year individual is not going to be as sharp as they once were. This is not a matter of dementia, this is a matter of the brain aging and not processing information as rapidly. Age is quite relevant in most situations. Also it doesn't matter if you wrote songs or not. Brain farts happen. Any singer will tell you this. Tony also changes the set list a bit on different nights and the promoter will help remember the order. It's not a big deal at all, not even for Katy.
