So.. I was walking through the streets of Philadelphia yesterday with my friend and he turns to me and says 'So what ever happened to the ARTPOP statue...?'

Where is it? lol  Was it ever on display except for the first artRAVE?

It's a shame the album wasn't more commercially successful because that statue could have traveled the world and been even more ICONIC.

SO WHERE IS IT AND WILL WE EVER SEE IT AGAIN?

And what about Volantis and Cipher??

that's probably in her warehouse.  Its just a shame that it was a big part of the era (literally the album cover) and we never saw it again.

It's not like we saw it more than once ourselves :flop:

I'm sure Gaga has it stored somewhere or Koons or whatever. But I doubt we'll be seeing it again. And I hope we won't 'cause it was butt ugly.

That was a computer model, the statue wasn't used for that, only its basic form.

This reminds me I wanted to share something regarding that, asked my parents to see if they could hire a cake maker to make a cake with a circular base covered in the ARTPOP album's cover with a cake version of the Koons sculpture on the top in white.

but they said it looks too complicated for a cake :crossed:

still gonna try and find a decorator to do it tho

Well, it's probably in a warehouse somewhere, along with other Koons projects. I have no doubt we'll hear about it again in the years to come ;)

Oh wow, I almost forgot about the ARTPOP statue. Too bad it didn't do too much impact.
