Pop 4,541
Can we still stop bothering women with this? If they want to have armpit hair, let them. You would never see a man get pestered about this. The Taylor Brigade: KNOCKOUT

You would never see a man get pestered about this. I wonder sometimes. If a guy were to shave his pits or legs (which I honestly prefer) would the media make such a big deal about it? Is it really that big of a deal that sometimes she just doesn't want to shave? Shaving/waxing is a pain, and can be fairly high maintenance, not to mention the occasional razor burns. Women are expected to be perfectly smooth everywhere but their scalp, when that's just not natural. Nothing wrong with cosmetic treatment, but if a women chooses not to, who cares. All I ask is that people bathe and wear deoderant. If Miley goes a month without shaving, then shaves again (for a business deal), then so be it. It's her body, her rules. As long as she's healthy, who really cares? Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."
Dayum 240
But why shouldn't society's norms be challenged? How else would we progress to becoming equal and level when it comes to expectations based on gender (or anything else for that matter) I'm not saying we shouldn't. I'm saying we should do it more convincingly. How you may ask, and honestly I don't know. I have not put my head into that matter.
