Beyonce is part owner of Tidal, but that doesn’t prevent her music from possibly being pulled from the streaming service.

The 33-year-old entertainer’s music is controlled by Sony Music, who owns the licensing rights to her songs.

Tidal has not come to a music-sharing agreement with Sony Music, who is reportedly asking for a large advance in exchange for the music. If an agreement is not made, Sony could make the big decision to pull its whole music catalog from Tidal, according to Bloomberg Businessweek.

Beyonce‘s husband Jay Z is also trying to come to an agreement with Warner Music Group after getting Roc Nation and Universal Music Group on board.

Ah, I'm enjoying this.... :kissga:Die TIDAL, die, die, die! :kissga:

They say it's the last song. They don't know us, you see. It's only the last song if we let it be.

How ironic that they're(Bey and Jay) clearly doing this to make more money, and yet, they're going to loose a lot because of this anyway.

The ultimate kii :deadbanana:

But i'm a 100% sure both Jay-Z and Bey would make sure this never happens, it'd be beyond embarrassing :rip:

Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn

it's sad to see people everywhere mock TIDAL, when most of them only jump on the hate-bandwagon and don't even educate themselves about what it really is, and only see it as a masterplan for artists to earn money. of course they're trying to earn money, but that's not what it's all about.

And it's sad to know that most people don't care about or can't tell the difference between bad and good quality, and would rather listen to a grainy mp3 ripped from youtube than how the song is actually intended to be listened to.

Music is not a human right. it's a product, it's valuable, a lot of time and energy goes into making it, not only from the artists, but everyone that is a part of the process.

oh well this is the future i guess..

This whole Tidal thing has just been such a mess, so glad Gaga didn't go to that pretentious meeting they had trying to pass it off as innovative :smh:
