Is anyone else really proud of Gaga for doing this? (Pet line related)

I really like that Gaga is gonna do something nice to help animals out. I haven't felt this good about something she's done in a long time, it's just very sweet of her. Usually when u hear about Gaga and animals, it's people criticizing Gaga for wearing fur (even this she's no worse then any non-vegan for doing so), so it's nice and refreshing to hear about Gaga doing something nice for animals. I'm sure when the line is launched we will probably hear from groups she helped stay afloat and she'll probably post about it too so we can see the good it's doing. I'm happy to be a fan of hers but it hasn't been since like 2011 during the BTW era where I thought that something she's done was great (of course this isn't counting music, as she's put out a lot of great music since then.). This is a good thing. Who else is proud of Gaga for helping homeless pets?

She could've just donated money or promoted the organizations without turning that "charity" (which it is not) into a profitable business idea. The portion will probably be minimal. And fyi, dog clothes are not about dogs feeling better.

There's nothing wrong with selling dog merch/healthy food.

But it is wrong to force your dog to wear costumes just to make him/her look "cute".

To dog in a shelter that needs supplies and Gaga's money buys the stuff, it's a pretty heroic act. Who knows how many extra pets will find homes and stay well taken care of in shelters while they wait because of Gaga's donation. She could change the world for some individual animals. That's why I donate to my local shelters.
