Take Lady Gaga and ARTPOP and Cheek to Cheek for example, it was so reliant on online promotion using twitter, there was no major tv appearances throughout the eras (with ARTPOP, only a few spotty appearances and then promo stopped completely) like there originally were during Gaga's first 3 eras. Lady Gaga was everywhere - the tv, the radio, performing everywhere, then with ARTPOP and Cheek to Cheek, it's all twitter promotion. It's a trend in music, do you think artists such as Gaga need to go back to using all the forms of media for promotion not just social media?
