Morphine Prince 109,768 Posted May 26, 2015 Share Posted May 26, 2015 Many areas of the US's 4th largest city are underwater today after 8-9 hours of non-stop torrential rain last night. 8,000 lightning strikes every two minutes, hail, tornado warnings, and non-stop rain happened in my city last night. Two deaths have been reported. Cars are stuck, streets are flooded, and a lot of the city is paralyzed. The Houston Rockets played last night in the Toyota Center as well (Gaga performs there for her tours) and 19,000 people were trapped there last night. It's been reported that at least 1,000 homes in Houston are damaged or submerged and more than 1,000 cars abandoned or submerged. This rain has also affected Central Texas, and the state of Oklahoma. It seems the weather keeps getting more and more erratic with each passing year. Guys, I'm really afraid for what's in store for us in the next 20 to 30 years. I really think the governments around the world should focus on stopping climate change instead of worrying about stupid, political, and divisive issues.
