There's no such thing as 'overpopulated'. It surprises me how a socialist can be against taking more asylum seekers - helping the weakest in society.

I wonder why Germany is so acceptive, pro-EU and pro-immigrant help while my country is quite the contrary. The government almost fell over a disagreement on whether they should give unaccepted asylum seekers bed, hygiene facilities and food or not. Like, wtf? 

I feel like the UK should take the most immigrants, because they have the fstest growing economy and most Syrians and Africans already speak proper English  

I also believe my country should take more asylum seekers, but it's impossible because the conservative party doesn't want to lose votes to the nationalist party...

There's no such thing as 'overpopulated'. The only country I can think of that is overpopulated, is Bangladesh. The UK has a lot of space to build houses, and perhaps win land from the sea like the Netherlands did (look up Flevoland). It surprises me how a socialist can be against taking more asylum seekers - helping the weakest in society.

And Britain isn't taking that many asylum seekers. Just some immigrants from Poland, who don't want to stay in the UK, but are only there to earn some money (providing cheap labour to the UK economy, helping them greatly in exports, growth and tax revenues).

No. Britain is in an absolute state at this current moment thanks to the wonderful David Cameron. We need to get him out. Get left wing party in. Change this country to the left again in order to cope with the amount of immigration. No way I am a nationalist. I believe in one world. In order t achieve this we need to sort Britain out and stop the sinking ship. I do agree with taking in the refugees however I don't want them suffering under the tory country

I lived there but as EU citizen it was fairly easy for me to get a job however the benefits didn't seem to be that good that people would stay on their couch and not get a job (in my situation) so how is it different for refugges I don't know much about that?

​Yes that's cool but that wasn't my question. It's because often people are worried that refugees will be a burden on society so I wonder what kind of treatment they get when they arrive in England, do they have a right to work? Or does the government have to support them waiting for a more permanent "solution"?

I have no idea because I don't live in England. I live in Scotland. From as far as my knowledge goes they are given benefits (don't quote me on that)

They are one million more people using food banks since May 2010. The economy has been up and down more times than Roar on the charts. The toeies has crippled this country
