Didymus 34,380
Nice to know that for you the murders of my family members, people that I will never know, is "s*hit" and not relevant.. show some respect. My grandfather still remember how they took his baby brother, 5 months old, and cut off of his hand because he had a gold bracelet, and then threw him out of the window, how they invaded his house and took everything, and how they raped my great grand mother and killed her, all this in front of his eyes.so no, it's not S*hit.Nice to know you're one of those people that furiously misinterpret things for the sake of being offended. The "sh-t" I referred to was the off-topic post as a whole in response to its writer calling out someone on a previous page for the same offense, especially because he tried to use those terrible events as an excuse to prove his belief that whenever Jews and Muslims together, the former will be terrorized by the latter. If that isn't truly disrespectful towards Baghdad's history, then I don't know what is.
Woolfsmck 2,763
I'm sorry to hear that I have heard similar horrorific events from older Jewish 'survivors'. The fact is that many Jewish people are lucky to be alive at all. like a cat in a sil, I observe life, moving and still. My words give a clue, look inside to see whats true

I called her out several times but when she doesn't stop, so I can do the same thing. Funny though how you call me out but never her. Shows your biased position. I also don't like how you put things in my mouth that I didn't say. Also I don't know how I was disrespectful to its history. Either you deny the things that happened or not. Before it they might lived peaceful but during that time it wasn't peaceful and that's why a Jewish state was needed.

Yeah, my grandparents usually don't talk about the concentration camps and I don't really want to force them. But the things I heard weren't that great. Even affected them after the Holocaust in Europe. The uncle of my grandmother got alcohol addicted after he lost his children and wife. Died young because of that. The amount of people here attacking Israel and Jews are those who don't have stories like that in their ancestry (and some of them may have ancestors who committed those crimes)

Before it they might lived peaceful but during that time it wasn't peaceful and that's why a Jewish state was needed. You didn't do anything to me. I only repeated my opinion because someone tried to attack me for what someone else did. And me and lego often disagree, so you'd be seriously stupid to think I automatically take her side on everything. I didn't read her off-topic post, I just saw you call her out for it while later making one of your own and I decided to comment, but even if I did, my comment was mostly about what you wrote under it: "Jews and Muslims lived in peace" - implying that this didn't happen for centuries before (which is just false) and that Muslim extremism is to blame for Jewish massacres when in your own post it was clear that the German Nazi philosophy was the real element that fanned the flame. If that's not what you meant, then I apologize for misinterpreting it, but you have a history of claiming that Muslim culture is inherently violent. Since you didn't reply to my post when I made it I assumed you either agreed with me or actively ignored me so I let it rest until other people brought it up again. And I'm no fool, I know that the mass of 90's Zionism was inspired by violent conflicts all over Europe, also some that had nothing to do with Nazism (Russian Jewish persecution for instance). It didn't seem to me that that was what you were aiming at in your post though, but maybe you should add more than one sentence next time

Don't worry about it, I get it. When you see someone post "that sh-t" you won't care about the context of it anymore It's important to share those things so I don't mind you doing it here, especially since it offers an example of why so many Jews felt/feel the need for their Zion. Sometimes I forget the genuine emotion behind the idea, even in people who didn't live through it and that tends to make the conflict and all it involves more easy than it is. So thanks for the reminder, but don't think I'd dismiss something like that as unimportant

I don't as well that Muslim extremism it is because personally I think that it's anti-semitism. That all happened all in Europe and other places. Anti-semitism is nothing muslim exclusive. So thanks for the reminder, but don't think I'd dismiss something like that as unimportant Thank you! I appreciate it a lot! Just to be clear, I'm not Zionist at all I didn't even served at the IDF (was in jail, but was worth it). I believe that no one is right in this conflict, both made mistakes, and tbh both are behaving in the same violent way, I don't like the idea that puts the Jewish and Israelis as the victims all the time.. sometimes we are wrong too and many times we bring the hate to ourselves.. example: when they say "we are the chosen one" in a very egoistic way, this sentence easily brings hate toward them. I just want to live in peace in this world.. I see the earth as my home and not a specific country and especially the country I was born, it's not my fault that I was born in Israel.. I'm against the idea of countries.. it's another way of the powerful and evil politicians and extremists to hold us, as human beings, to live in peace with each other, to share cultures, to find love, to just live peacefully every day.. River 127,556
So you think that there shouldn't be a Jewish country where Jews have a safe ground and are free from Anti-semitism? I think that there shouldn't be countries at all..After 25 years in Israel, I can tell you that a Jewish country is still not safe for the Jews, we are still dying.I don't think it's correct to divide us from the rest of the world in a big ghetto, it's too easy to kill us all in one shot..maybe we are free from Anti-Semitic but Russians, Black, non-Jewish are not safe from the Jewish racism in Israel, in their country. But I totally understand you, you are the TRULY VICTIM of the conflict, you get hate because of who you are and not because from where you are, you get all the anger and the hate because of the conflict. So I totally understand why you are so protective and emotional and I hope that one day the hate that you get will stop! Before it they might lived peaceful but during that time it wasn't peaceful and that's why a Jewish state was needed. What happened that time in Baghdad was inhumane and awful and any sane person condemns it, but it doesn't justify what is being done to Palestinians from 1947 till present day. That was in 1941, and Zionists Europeans began their immigration in late 19th century, before the World Wars. Nazis went to ME to spread their propaganda and ideology using the fear Arabs had from the waves of new migrants. I was talking about centuries before of living in peace when Muslims ruled Andalusia, it was a Jewish Golden Age and same with the Ottoman Empire, their rule was spread from Palestine to Balkans. They were following same Qur'an and they were even more religious than today, but they didn't hate and kill Jews in masses just because they were Jews. They took them under their protection from Catholic inquisitors. And even during the WWII there are examples where muslim woman in Balkans covered her Jewish neighbours David star. So what Zionists are trying to propagate today is false, the conflict is not mostly religious based, otherwise how can you explain the harrasment and confiscation of property of Palestinian Christians to this present day? And how was that 'needed state' created? With terrorism. Read about zionist paramilitary terrorist groups Irgun, Lehi (offshoots of Hagganah which later became IOF) and the atrocities they committed. " Lehi initially sought an alliance with Fascist Italy and Nazi Germany, offering to fight alongside them against the British in return for the transfer of all Jews from Nazi-occupied Europe to Palestine.[2] Believing that Nazi Germany was a lesser enemy of the Jews than Britain, Lehi twice attempted to form an alliance with the Nazis.[2] During World War II it declared that it would establish a Jewish state based upon "nationalist and totalitarian principles"." https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lehi_(group) https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irgun https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haganah The often forgotten massacre everyone should know about; read about Deir Yassin and survivors' testimonies. Didymus 34,380
Try to live as a Jew outside of Israel and I bet you would say something different Dude.. There are big communities and organizations of Jews that do not approve of Israel's creation that live in the U.S. and Europe. Also, do black people, gays and other socially persecuted minorities deserve their own country as well? Do Muslims?
