But you know what I can answer?

Those questions about Israel:

1. Who founded "Israel"? The Israelites and Canaanites.
2. Who were the kings of "Israel"? King David, King Solomon, and many more.
3. What was the currency of "Israel"? Shekel. It was the same currency the Israelites used 3,000+ years ago.
4. The word must derive from the ethnicity that founded it, so which was it? The Israelites. Israel was named after one of Abraham's sons, Jacob, which YHWH gave him the name Israel.

Israel belongs to the Jews. Palestine has never existed. Want proof? Read the bible.

You destroyed your argumentation with Read the bible.

First, the Bible isn't science. Second , if Israel exists it has a lot to do with Sionist, they were mostly atheist jews. Third, if you only use the excuse of who was there first, let's reorganise the whole world then...You can't use that to move a whole village because 1000 years ago some people who could be relatives to nowadays Israeli (because come on, Jews is a religion of convert, especially the one from balkans and eastern europe) makes no sense whatsoever...

Back to the subject-

Can someone who says "free palestine!" daily please answer my questions?

1. Who founded "Palestine"?
2. Who were the kings and queens of "Palestine"?
3. What was the currency of "Palestine"? (Do not put 'pound' - currency of the British colony.)
4. The word must derive from the ethnicity that founded it, so which was it?

Palestine wasn't founded as such. The ottoman empire was splitted and Brtish and French split the pieces without considering which ethnic group was living where.

How is the second question relevant? Technically any from the Ottoman Empire.

The thirs one I have no clue but please explain to me how this relevant to the independance and the freedom of a group of people?

The ethicity is Palestinian. Open an history book and next time ask relevant questions.

Are "Berliners" a different ethnicity than other Germans?

Your point ignores the issue of self rule.  While the people of Berlin are distinctly different than say Munich or Strasburg, they aren't a separate country.

Jordan gave up control of Israel and the Palestinian region.   Isreal with the help of the UN set up their own government.  Palestine rejected this leadership and basically declared war on them.  Their leadership currently was a military coup by Hamas who, simply is an organization dedicated to killing Jews.

Isreal/Palestinian conflict has everything to do with religion.   The fact that Egypt has closed their borders to them and uses their military to stop border crossing is never mentioned because they are muslim.

you came in asking about "other arab countries" not israel/palestine. didnt even name any countries or post a source or explain why they might not be able to own property in those countries. its these kinds of things that got the thread locked i the first place.

you want to talk about muslims not letting people of other religions into their country then go ahead and make a thread about egypt then or go make the "look at the horrible **** muslims do" thread. or go to the isis thread and talk about it. you're going to get this thread closed again with this crap :smh:

The Palestinian problem is exactly the same as "other arab countries"  and I generalize because they are too numerous to list ... the problem has everything to do with religious supremacy and not land.

Well he asked the ethnicity of current Palestinian... But I see your point it's a debate about when Palestinian identity was created and many argues that they defined themselves as palestinian after the nakba. Today you wouldn't say that a Palestinian and Jordan are the same nor they are the same as Syrian or Lebanese. The one from the gaza stripes could be assimilated with Egypt but they aren't so there must be a reason for that appart from territory going back and forth between Egypt and Israel.

I know why the history of war and the conflicts between palestinian jews and palestinian arabs (or muslim because not all of them are muslim). But the arabs were against an independance before Israel proclaimed it anyway. The fact that Israel self proclaimed it self independant the day the mandate was over probably created even more animosity... It's complex really but for sure at first jews and arabs were both palestinian. I think personally a two state solution can't happen because of that not even speaking about the fact that at any opportunity another would start between the two states. A situation like the united kindgom could be a start because they clearly don't want to be under one state.

For the leadership i disagree, hamas is very strong in gaza but already the palestinian authority isn't united because the west bank is entirely different ( I have only been there cause you can't go to gaza) and that's a big problem for current palestinian the fact that fatah and hamas are competing but yes we should get rid of hamas I can't believe we can recognize palestine as a state with hamas as the authority it's saying yes to terrorism...

that's one side of the conflict, I think it's mostly ethnicity and territory. The palestinian I spoke with that are part of organisation and refugees camp explained that back in the days religion wasn't that strong but now with hamas it's a way to recruit terrorist, but don't worry they is also "atheist" terrorist among them and palestinian that aren't muslim like most jews aren't actually practicing religion anyway.

theres religious supremacy on both sides especially with the jewish idea of themselves as "the chosen people" . with the demolishing of palestinian homes and jewish settlements it seems like both sides are guilty of that. and then theres that whole dumb "we were here first" attitude the jews have based on the idea of the bible as "proof".

imo its moore about people losing their homes than religion.

I can only hope that the Palestinians criminal activities get equal international prosecution.

That's fine.

I think is only a shallow view of the conflict however.

Have you been there oe actually talked to people involved? Religion is a shallow view of the concept. Because most of them didn't even mention religion for them it was first territory and then ethnicity because they consider themselves fondamentally different from each other. Judaism isn't even a religion it's a confession, and that's why the conflict is that complex because being being jewish isn't just a religion.
