Fact is that you are not jewish background and you don't know how it feels to get anti-semitism. I got in huge identity crisis, trying to hide my identity and searching other institution, which I gladly got rid off. I know what it feels like to be bullied and joked about because of who you are (and really who you are, not an identity label you just pick up somewhere along the road) and I refuse to believe that a social group that teaches its children they're different from others because of tradition and history is to be pitied more than anyone who does not get respect from their surroundings because of something they can't control.What I was trying to say that there is no place where Jews can hide. Sorry if it came across racist. I didn't have a place to hide when I was bullied in school and none of my teachers even tried to change anything about the situation. And I was lucky. I didn't have it that bad, I wasn't physically harrassed and I didn't spiral down into a depression that convinced me to kill myself. Or I wasn't just thrown in jail and executed for s-xual urges I couldn't control.And where exactly can colored minorities hide? They should just all go back to Africa or Asia or Russia or wherever they're supposed to come from based on their skin color? Why? There's no home for them there. Who are you to deny them a safe place while claiming (with force) a land for your own people? Hypocrisy at its best.Now just to avoid misunderstandings: I don't give a **** that Israel's there now. What's the past is the past. But I still wanted to comment because it frightens the hell out of me that an individual can claim so much privileges for himself and his people while denying them for others. I don't respect some opinions and therefore do not quote or respond to them ... as as for the victims ... BS ... Attempts to aid them get mis directed ... Currently the aid poring into Gaza is helping the needy ... Inspections are needed to insure that rockets and bombs aren't included to aid those with other intentions but you are responding to each one of them, in a very immature passive aggressive way. Like I said before, seems like it takes balls to quote me. The articles posted on previous page are facts and testimonies of survivors of Deir Yassin massacre, not opinions. A similar situation happened to my grandfather's family in Yemen. Their local synagogue was burned down and his family were all murdered by Arabs who screamed "kill the Jews!". The causes of the Palestinian exodus in 1948 are highly debated and there is absolutely zero consensus even among Israeli historians. Some Israeli historians (granted, belonging to the New Historians group which is not without criticism) actually do use the term ethnic cleansing though they deny that its goal was a Palestinian flight.Anyhow, don't present things in that easygoing prepackaged way when men who have studied the actual sources are nowhere near figuring it out themselves.
