Israel will compete in the 2nd semi-final. It got decided today when the EBU approved Israels request, since the 1st semi-final clashes with a national holiday.

News:

The Big 5 (France, Germany, Italy, Spain and United Kingdom) + the host country Sweden will for the first time perform in the semi-finals!
They will perform in the semi-final they will be voting. Germany has already been allocated to perform and vote in the 2nd semi-final. 

This means they have tro travel to Stockholm earlier than usual and rehearse for the semi-finals. They still will be pre-qualified for the grand final though.

We already know that Israel and Germany will show up in the 2nd semi-final. 
The rest will be drawn in late January.

Armenia is confirmed for Eurovision and they will present their artist on 13th of October!

Slovakia confirmed today that they will not come back next year, sadly.

It's just a little bit more than two weeks left until the final deadline and we're still awaiting confirmation from Moldova, Montenegro, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Croatia and Turkey.

Also it's still unclear whether Australia will be given a permanent spot or not.
