Like, they all loved and talked about Lupita N'yongo (Is that how you spell her last name? Feel free to correct me!) and then three months later they stopped all talk about her. that's how they work on there. What matters is that she IS making a change, and that she continues doing what she does, no matter the amount of praise she gets for it.Plus, y'all should appreciate the fact the stated artists support LGBT people, too.No matter if it's for publicity or not, little things like that encourage people, who are struggling with problems and give them a boost, which is really important. Stop being so pessimistic. This is very true! She's there for the people that need her. Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax." I hardly think Beyonce also seeing it as shallow is the same thing as Beyonce being homophobic. Anyways, Tumblr users aren't very fair judges of "rightness" and "wrongness" and are incredibly biased in everything they do. (Like every huge population of people on a popular website!) Probably because they are diverse people with differing tastes, and most of them are only 13-17. For a community that claims to be all about "equality" and "fairness", Tumblr is one of the worst communities when it comes to circlejerking and being unable to tolerate people who break the circlejerk. :/ I love the site and use it all the time but if you aren't agreeing with the norm they will come for you.
