Fatboy Slim: ‘I’m not always after more fame unlike Madonna’

I'm pretty sure he was being interviewed and the journalist conducting the interview must have asked him about Madonna and what he thinks of her still being active after 33 years in the business.  I highly doubt he randomly brought her up just to shade her.

Either way, it's kind of tacky to throw shade at a fellow artist.  Like I always say, if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all.  The fact that he had to throw shade at Madonna proves that he is pressed about all the success she's had in her 33 year career.   :thetea:

hes kinda right- madonna needs to stop.

but, its not like he can get a superbowl gig tho even if he wanted. :ohwell:

He did get a brief spot in the 2012 Olympic closing ceremony, although that was awful for the entire show so it's probably not something to brag about :green:

Well, I don't think she needs to stop because she still has the energy and the fan base to continue going for a long time.  I do, however, think that she should come out with albums that are more appropriate for someone her age.

For example, it would have been awesome if Rebel Heart would have sounded like True Blue.  I find it very strange that True Blue, with Madonna being 28 when it was released, sounds more mature then Rebel Heart does even though Madonna is now 56.   :saladga:

I don't understand why you guys are already jumping to drag him :spin::awkney:

What he said isn't really that bad, it's just his opinion and I don't really think he meant it a diss to Madonna

I kinda agree. If I was in her place right now, with all the success in past, I would do something new, try new stuff and experiment, do something interesting.

Well at this point, he's saying the mere truth about Madge.

"A little less conversation and a little more touch my body."

Don't know who he is, but that's exactly the point he's trying to make :laughga:

He's just mad Madonna is a fame wh0re and his work doesn't get recognition...tbqh

However, what he said is also true...Madonna literally did N-E-THANG to make her way to the top when she was first starting out...she hasn't changed and feeds off of doing controversial, upsetting, immature, sacrilegious things to get noticed and try to stay relevant... no lies told :thetea:

He just expressed his opinion and how he feels about fame and thought the Madonna comparison would fit his point, because what she said about her is somewhat true, I don't think he is dragging her.

And I can understand he is not looking for more fame, he doesn't have any to start with :cryga:
