But why would it have to be censored in the first place ?

Because it was on network TV, before 10:00. There are guidelines set for everyone and every show. If networks break the guidelines, they have to pay hefty fines. Kanye knows this...he knew it going in. If he doesn't like the rules, he simply could have passed on performing. He's been around long enough to know they were going to censor his language. Kanye either censors his language on his own, or the network is going to do it for him.

i could tell that they over censored it. even unexplicit parts were censored. i couldnt get into the performance. which sucks because those songs are the **** to me.
