Is a Gaga GH overdue?

I think 2018 would be a great window

Why?

Because it holds a very special date

8 April 2018 to be exact-

10 years of the release date of Just Dance, her debut single

 

The GH could commemorate with a special decade performance of JD

 

What type of GH should she put out?

1. Singles collection

all her singles from Just Dance to before the GH

 

2. Compilation

Mix of tracks -album tracks and singles for a specific variety

 

3.Smash Hits

Only the songs that were hits-not certain singles, but tracks like Starstruck that did quite well

 

 

I personally prefer #2 because it shows a great variety in her music and would put her artistry in a much more accessible way

I don't think Gagz will do any type of compilation albums anytime soon. She always have these new ideas and she would always express them through music. I also would like her to release more albums before her greatest hits.

honestly i don't want a compilation album from gaga at all. when artists do that it feels like "ooh look at me and my past hits. here i'll put them all in one, add one new song and call it a new album"

of all of those options I'd pick singles collection and I think a greatest hits IS happening and it will come out in 2018 or earlier but I doubt she's going to promote it that long, bc it won't be a real album and we all know she's always creating music.

Compilation albums don't really work in the digital age when one can just make a playlist on a streaming service or on their iTunes account.

I doubt shes having a child anytime soon bc once she gets the album out in a year, shes obviously going to do promo and follow it with a tour which will probably wrap up in 2017. The most likely timeframe for her to have a kid Is 2018 so a GH album would be great then, maybe with some outtakes just to keep Gaga up there while shes taking some time off.

Well she does single remixes and turns them into an album, so maybe a compilation of her singles and their best remixes could be something she could do, but I'm not counting on it.
