I don't carry enough knowledge about her to form an opinion on her as an overal artist, but i do think you're totally overreacting. I do think Love Me Like You Do was generic. However, i also believe she didn't have an artistic control over it as it was nothing but a soundtrack for that awful movie.

I think she had her moments which she shined in as an artist.

​Anything Could Happen and Lights are prime examples of what I dislike most about her. I think they're vague impressions of better female electronic artists. Overreacting would be me actively hating her and expressing that consistently, I don't think i've ever once uttered a single word about her on this forum or any other. Imo shes an incredibly bland and uninspired artist, once again my opinion not made out of ignorance of her or her work. I think shes the epitome of basic and the only reason I even bother to have an opinion about her is because her music is constantly shoved down my throat against my will thanks to American radio/consumers.

​Vague impressions? arguable. A more lukewarm, generic and accessible form of artists like Robyn? I'd agree on that. I just think you're overreacting in terms of writing her off as total wack when clearly she sparks some potential in her.

Thus a vague impression. You're agreeing with me that that is what she is. And I do think shes a total wack, I don't think she has any potential. What shes done is all she is capable of.

And sidenote, I really dislike her voice as well. She just is bland literally from every aspect to me. She sounds indistinguishable production wise as well as vocally.
