Michael 533
Babe the other cast members haven't rehearsed either. That's how it works. They aren't finished writing it yet.

djBuffoon 12,126
Sis, no.A traditional rehearsal period, for experts and amateurs alike, is a very generous 3-4 weeks. With film/TV, a majority of the rehearsing and fine-tuning is done on-set. And between Gaga's work ethic and her stage/musical theatre background, I'm not sure why you are worrying.

elijahfan 26,484
This is not theatre, there's no need for her to rehearse the scripts much time in advance. On the other hand, I'm fairly sure she knows exactly what her character and her backstory is gonna be, and that's what an actor is supposed to work on in the months before shooting. JusKeepBreathin 19,311
If you rehearse too much to acting gets stale. Besides AHS is different then never shoot in order and even the script they receive is not chronological. And apparently lack of rehearsal time is well known for AHS.EVAN PETERS: Well television is grueling. The hours are grueling, it’s hard work, and there’s a lot of pressure to get it done without a lot of rehearsal time. We didn’t have a lot of rehearsal time on this but we were all trapped in this setting. I feel like that in television as well, but with this it was more guerrilla style, like the craft services was granola so you’re kind of starving. I feel like there’s so much heart behind the film that’s driving it. There’s a lot of heart in television as well but it’s very much a machine, just getting it out and getting it done. You try to make the right choices and having the time to do that.Read more at http://www.inquisitr.com/627741/tribeca-exclusive-interview-evan-peters-talks-american-horror-story-and-adult-world/#f7Ff8LXGBkkYYQWr.99 "Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity." -Martin Luther King Jr.

SpadesToStart 3,506
That's how television works. It's not like live theater where you rehearse something for months and then put it on. In TV you get your scripts a couple weeks before filming the episode, you do a table read and a few rehearsals, and then you're already filming.
