Tony is 88, his voice is obviously not perfect but it's still impressive considering his age.

I agree that Gaga outshines him in some songs with her voice but Tony also outshines her because of his notorious experience.

I honestly agree. I love Gaga's vocal performance on C2C. But that's about it. The instrumentals didn't particularly impress me on any tracks except It Don't Mean A Thing, Nature Boy, and ofc Newman's trumpeting on Bang Bang. (dunno if that track even counts tho) And I was actually somewhat disappointed by Tony's vocals; although I'm admittedly no jazz expert I didn't find his tone very rich or pleasant and he didn't really take any vocal risks.

P.S. funny how some of u say "How dare you say anything bad about Tony?? He's old and a legend and the king of his genre!" yet u feel very free to drag Madonna :green:

My old cat is a tough man, but i cant deny the way he bites my hand and he stabs me, he grabs me by my heart <3

This is so pretentious :smh:

I don't like how he's basically saying that no one should do jazz anymore. I think it's important for people to explore other genres. He's saying that people should stick to listening to the jazz greats of the past like Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald, but he should acknowledge that through collabs like Gaga and Tony, it's actually introduced a lot of younger people from Gaga's fan  base to jazz music and I don't doubt that there's a fair few people who've looked up some of the jazz greats because of it.

Any hate or shade now on the collab or album means nothing now....it sold well...won a Grammy...and she's on sold out tours playing it and it's improved her image with the GP...

Exactly.  I have never heard Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra,  or Tony Bennett sing before Gaga started the jazz collaboration.
