It reads as a love letter to herself because she's just 2arty4u. It honestly makes me cringe. It's the story of Mary Magdalene, one of the most controversial person in History. Back in a day, she was considered as a hooker but since the half of the 20th century she has been considered as the Apostle to the Apostles. She was misunderstood and so is Gaga.And that's exactly what Gaga explain in Judas. She tries to be good but her darkness always catch her again.The way Gaga incorporated these biblic references in order to express her concept is simply clever. It's not only a superimposition of Biblic references. The lyrics are cohesive and organic and even a person who has never read the Bible can understand the logic and the story of this song.
