​Huh? The song was doing great on iTunes/Charts for a song without a video..I actually think that the video was scrapped by Gaga because it would ruin her image and it would harm her career.But the song itself would do great.

She should've thought about that before recording a song with a controversial artist and shooting a video for it with a controversial director. Above all of that, she's a controversial artist herself. She also recorded another version of the song with Xtina, so she could've shot another video with her, but you can say she most likely lost interest in DWUW.

I'm just saying that we could've had a lot of good things in the ARTPOP era, she promised us so, but the DWUW mess (including the single switch and the video cancellation) was one of the reasons the entire era was ruined.

DWUW was THE reason ARTPOP era bombed. I understand it was a good choise not to release it but then again, I cannot justify Gaga for her actions, she knew wha was the song about, with whom she sang it, and who directed the video, she knew what she was doing and now everyone blames her team etc.

Lol @ people blaming Terry. Like, y'all are so proud to say "Yassss Gaga makes everything by herself, the music, the videos etc" yet you try to find a way to make Terry responsible for all of this. Gaga recorded the video and it was ready to be released. She's responsible. But yes, I think it was a wise choice from her not to release it, it would have made a Judas 2.0 situation, although I like controversy. But this kind of controversy wasn't needed at all imo.
