I agree. "Four" is actually a really good album. It's the only 1D album that I own. 

With that being said, its promotion indeed really lacked this time around.

It's much more rock than their previous works, which are more pop based.

In terms of lyrics, a HUGE improvement of maturity.

Check out "Once in a Lifetime." Never thought I'd say it before I heard it, but that is one beautiful One Direction song.
