Bebe 17,094
Tell me, how many original songs are on Cheek To Cheek? Huh? None, I really have absolutely no clue what your point is Are you trying to imply C2C is not a Gaga album because it doesn't contain original songs? I mean not only would you be wrong (about it not being a Gaga album) but you would be focusing on what is essentially a footnote in my comment. antpats2 4,200
I personally don't want any outtakes from ARTPOP on the next album. I want a fresh new theme and era with brand new songs to fit it
Dangerous Man 9,245
I think it's only about our preferences. I can think that it's going to be her 4th, 5th or even 100th album if I want Gurl the "it could mean anything" era is over already. "A little less conversation and a little more touch my body." But it is NOT a pop album, it doesn't include songs written by Gaga, nor it has any radio singles. I don't feel like I'm listening to a new Gaga album while listening to Cheek To Cheek. I'm sorry, I like some of the songs, but jazz isn't my cup of tea
StarryNight 10,106
Then why can't she release an ARTPOP B-Sides album? With just like 5-8 songs? because that ship sunked a long time ago maybe sometimes in future we will hear some of it, hopefully
Bebe 17,094
unless you count TFM and The Fame as the same album and you count C2C as a LG + Tony album (I personally don't give a **** about which lg it is, I'm just ready for more music) OT: Nope. I'd like an entirely new concept and each song has to fit into that concept organically, not in a forced way. Yeah, I know that is basically what OP is implying. It's just strange because most debate comes over one or the other, not both.It seems a bit odd to claim Gaga has had 3 albums considering she has toured for 5 I consider TFM an album, it did win "Best Pop Vocal Album" at The Grammys. Cheek to Cheek is co-credited with Tony, obviously, but it is as part of her discography as his.

I and many others refer it to as LGTB1 or TBLG1 (also because TBLG/LGBT2 is confirmed with the obvious possibility of more). That's why her next album is LG5

It's like how Sonny & Cher's albums are included in Cher's total albums or, on a smaller degree, how Telephone is considered both a Gaga single and Beyoncè single. Cheek to Cheek is still a part of Gaga's discography, it is a part of the albums she has released.
