In my mind I see Texas and see the south as separate in a way lol. Whenever I think of "the South" I think of Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, etc. The more rural areas of Texas are probably more like this though. Just rural areas of Texas but, yeah, the cities are way better. I always forget that they're part of Texas But, to me, Texas is part of the South, just way different just like Missouri is part of the Midwest just way different the further south one goes.
