I guess it's probably a southern thing, but we had ours there because it was the biggest building in the city that could hold all of our class and the people that attended. When you live in the Bible Belt, one has to ask him- or herself what isn't at a church But, I'm not kidding, in the Bible Belt a lot of functions and social gatherings are held in churches like even competitions for Speech, Debate and Business competitions which is kind of a cringey practice I found that Texas is more liberal in that aspect in that it doesn't really do that which is strangely ironic Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
