tomfrench 5 Posted May 10, 2015 Share Posted May 10, 2015 I don't know if you guys know David Bowie and his career, but Lady Gaga has been inspired a lot by his fashion and his caracters since her debut but not enough...I think she should in the future release some material, records much more avant-garde, non commercial and experimental music as Bowie did back in the 70's.The result was stunning and I consider Gaga as the modern Bowie, so I think she should consider that What do you think? I think the music industry has changed so much into bite-size commercialization that her pulling off a perfect Bowie would be difficult if not impossible. If she continues to release avant-garde music all the time I doubt she'll be able to provide us amazing eras with wonderful visuals, fashion, videos and tours. Don't forget Amanda Lear early in Gaga's career. She was heavily associated with Bowie and rumor has it Bowie gave Amanda the idea to publicize herself as an MTF transgender Who knows whether Amanda is or not because her own date of birth or place of birth or gender at birth is not known. 'forced silliness' she puts in songs like Donatella but she can do SO much more... She is a phenomenal songwriter and I hope she will embrace that talent a little bit more.. And I have a strong feeling that is her plan with the next album.. I would like a little bit more Bowie influence too, he is just so amazing.. They say it's the last song.
