​Bruce said he wants to be referred to as male, but Katy may not have known that. I personally did not know that, so I too would have referred to Bruce as "she" out of respect, the way Katy seems to have done so. 

I love how the article specified "(At this time, Bruce has not chosen to publicly identify as a woman and so E! News will continue to refer to him as Bruce and use male pronouns, until he indicates otherwise.)"

This really doesn't make sense at all. Bruce would still be transgender whether or not he was ever involved with Kris Jenner or the Kardashians lol.

​I think what she means is his story wouldn't have made headlines and sparked discussion/awareness for these issues if not for the impact of the Kardashians.
