OT: I get what she's saying. I agree with a lot of it (but going out of your way to not support white businesses is undeniably racist). I just think the way she said it was a bit harsh.

​I believe only about 25% of white Southerners in the 18th (and 19th) century owned black slaves in the US. That's because they were the wealthy whites.

​What assumptions? It's a fact that Europeans enslaved PoC for as long as that slave lived (which a lot of the time, wasn't very long due to the physical pain + exhaustion).

 

I expected this type of post and many more on here. Some white people of GGD refuse to acknowledge their privilege and throw the "I'm GAY tho." bomb in your face.
