Born This Way sold 4 million and took more one and a half years to get vevo certified. :neyde:

At least it got certified, but I agree, for a song like this, the views of that song was relatively slow compared to other number ones.

Bad Bromance

I can't believe it's been 4 years since Gaga released this masterpiece of a song.  Time sure does fly, doesn't it?

Happy birthday The Edge of Glory!!!!      :omgexcited:   You will forever be one of my favorite songs off BTW!

I don't care what you think about unless it is about me.

VOLANTIS

Well I was living under a Rock during that Era and I first heard from a Friend that Gaga was going to perform a new song on American Idol Finale. This was the time when I really started wholeheartedly stanning for Gaga. Anyways, I woke up at 6 in the Morning to watch Gaga perform. And my body was so ready and she was on top of this Hill and it slayed me before she even began singing. And then from the first verse I was so hooked on to this song. The Epic Chorus, the Second verse all made me tear up. And when she did the second chorus on this keyboard, I couldn't help it but clutch onto something because it was all too real and all too perfect. And then when I thought it couldn't get any better, The SAX comes on and I'm on the floor crying and crying like a mess. I didn't know what was happening to me at all. I was never that affected from a Live performance. I still cant comprehend much of what happened to me but this song always takes me back. And when I heard it was inspired by her Grandfather's death, it hit me. I was mourning my Aunt who passed away just a few months before. All these tiny little things connected me to Lady Gaga and therefore The Edge of Glory is this one piece that changed everything for me. I remember buying both The Edge of Glory and Judas and fighting with my Family about which song slayed more.

I remember getting goosebumps when hearing this song for the first time. It's one of two that completely blew me away upon first listen. (The other is Ugly by 2NE1). I was very disappointed in the video and haven't watched it all the way through since the day it was released, especially since I know Gaga had to scrap her ideas with mermaids and assault rifles and so on because of disagreements with the director and she had to pull the video together in 3 days.

Happy birthday. It's hard to believe it's been four years already.

Glory

I'll love her forever thanks to this song.
I remember listening it on premiere before my biggest exam, it gave me tears & strenght. Since that it became my favorite and most listened song.

And yes time flies :noparty:

This. I remember someone said that the violet colors represented the birth, the life and the blur dark colors represented the death.

The Child

This song is my second favorite from BTW. I loved all its live performances, the whole look for it. The video kinda disappointed me at first cause I remember seeing bts pics and I remember Gaga wanted a mermaid in it. Anyway, now I love the MV and I kinda feel like she used the ideas she had for TEOG in Y&I and MTN mvs.

Miranda Sings

Gaga's best song ever and probably my favorite song of all time. No other piece of music makes me feel the way The Edge of Glory does. It's absolutely magical. Thank you, Gaga, for giving us all this fantastically beautiful work of art that I will remember and cherish for the rest of my life.
