I really don't get it. What is this chart based on? The song isn't doing anything anywhere at all.

It doesn't really matter, but with this number one she became the act with the most #1’s on ANY Billboard chart ever! :whitney:

What's with the obsession with #'s? This song is not iconic in any sense of the word but some songs that we label classics never made it to #1. Congrats to her and the remixes for this track (Offer Nissim) are exceptionally good. Don't let this "tired old war" keep you from enjoying other artists' music; like who cares? If the song is good and I like it, who cares about the position? It seems like numbers and charts are the in thing now. :miley:

Charts may be meaningless, but with such a rocky era I'm glad she has found some (superficial mainstream) success. I think the album is good, she really seems to enjoy it as do her fans, and I love how she's not letting criticism affect her too much. She's standing by her work and carrying on like the album and songs have sold millions. I am very proud of her for that.

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."

It would've been an achievement if she was an underground artist
