Dean Winchester 196 Posted May 8, 2015 Share Posted May 8, 2015 Jo Calderone has got to be one of gaga's most intellectual performances ever. A lot of people just see it as her dressing up as a man. But there was way more to it. She was trying to make the statement that we "perform" our genders. And that gender itself is actually a performance. She broke herself from that mold of being defined as either male or female and showed that she can "perform" as both. If you think about it, it was magnificent.
