They say it's the last song. They don't know us, you see. It's only the last song if we let it be.

YES. That's why I love music and certain artists. Because there music connects to memories and emotional events.

I listen to ARTPOP and only feel happiness. It reminds me of walking along the coast, hot day, a day out at the water park. Also many other happy memories are connected to ARTPOP for me. Also, on first listen and a couple times after that, it just sounds greater than life and I feel this wave of emotion sweep over me. It's by far my favorite album of all time. :nick:

Born To Die reminds me of my lowest point. :noparty: One night, I was feeling really really ****ty. I was so emotional but I was bottling it all up. So I sit down, put in my earphones and play Born To Die. When Born To Die (the song) starts, I immediately felt like I was on the edge of tears. Then when the chorus kicked in, I broke down. I couldn't deal anymore. I cried so much (through like the first half of the album). But it's probably my 2nd favorite album because after all my tears, I felt so much better. It felt good to just let it all out and have my fave sing to me in a way. :nick:

Then there's Born This Way. I played the album one very early morning when I was by myself. I was trying to keep myself busy so I did chores and listened to music. When Marry The Night played, I cried (ugh this post makes it seem like I cry a lot :laughga:) but after BTW + MTN, GH was just what I needed. I feel the first two songs were placed to help you let it all out and Gaga just says "okay, you're going through a rough time, but you're strong and you'll make it. I love you. Love yourself. Then let's get this party started <3". I had a great time listening to the album and TEOG tied it up wonderfully.

"Black Holes and Revelations" and "The Resistance" by Muse both remind me of my junior year of high school when I was struggling with my s-xuality and my first emotionally attached crush and all that mess that came along with that.

You know things are going to be messy when you're still closeted and your very first love ends up being with your straight friend:toofunga:

For some reason, I listened to those two albums really often throughout that period of my life.

I'd say I have songs that I have emotional connections but Confessions on a Dance Floor, TFM, sometimes BTW & Clarity by Zedd and somehow Graduation by Kanye West always gets me nostalgic feelings

So many!

But the first one that comes to my mind is vulnicura, because it deals with the different stages of a break up and it was released when I was breaking up with the love of my life

Even though I absolutely adore our Queen of Music Lady Gaga, I did not choose one of her amazing albums because, as I stated above, I'm quite a bit older than most of you here, if not all of you!  LOL

So, when Lady Gaga came on the music scene, I had already gone through many breakups, and all the drama that comes with being young.  In other words, I had already been through the teenage angst and was in a much better place in life in 2008.  But, Gaga will always be in my heart!   :gaga:    :monsterpaw:

I don't care what you think about unless it is about me.

Every day :gaga:

Is there a central Muse thread on these boards? I've looked for one several times over the years, but never found one. I remember I made a thread about something they did back in like 2012 and no one responded

Really though! It's incredible :legend:

Very rare to find Muse praise on these boards. Glad to have seen another.

I'm surprised as well even though I saw someone here (like few months ago) who loves them

You're hotter than that crush you had, I promise!

Back to your question, I think there's not a Muse Appreciation Thread. But I've seen some fans of them + some people that love Neutron Star Collision and Supermassive Black Hole :)
