With her being more positivity exposed, yes. It will definitely debut with a #1.

Music site and radios are going to be kissing her ass when it's released

As long as no other big names are releasing around the same time, then yes ( I'm looking at you, Katheryn)

A #1 debut for a single is highly unlikely, unless it somehow and someway becomes associated with a viral video / internet meme during its first week like Harlem Shake.  A #1 peak, however, isn't that far-fetched as long as the material itself is strongly catchy, the timing of its release is well-planned, and is backed up with massive promotion in a span of a month or two.

Even if her commercial peak already occurred years ago, it isn't unusual for music acts to revisit the top of the Hot 100 chart years, if not decades, later (See: Cher, Britney Spears), so I wouldn't say it's impossible for her to score her 4th #1 hit on the Hot 100 with the next album or the succeeding ones. She's a brilliant songwriter anyway, and one of the most reliable hit-makers among all acts since iTunes kicked off the digital era of music consumption. Not to mention, she's among the very few who has topped the charts multiple times without the help of the #1 hit-making production team of Max Martin and Dr. Luke. That alone is an impressive feat, a feat she can pull again with a talent like her.

so glad to see you back! I hadn't seen you on in a while!

Competition is everything. Applause could have easily gone #1 had Gaga released during a non-heinous time. Here was the week that Applause peaked at its highest position:

#1 – Blurred Lines

#2 – Roar

#3 – We Can't Stop

#4 – Applause :legend:

#5 – Radioactive

Gaga could have easily peaked higher if Blurred Lines was already dead, Gaga was bound to peak higher than Miley had Billboard implemented a chart rule earlier, and Gaga could have easily peaked higher than Katy had the media not lampooned her as a "flop" and Gaga waiting an entire week to release despite the leaks. Gaga would have had a full week a streams, sales, airplay, everything possibly higher than Roar's second week causing Applause to shoot to #1. So my answer remains: competition is everything. :hunty:

i caught your fever, i'll be feeling it forever

I was thinking YES! but then I remembered the reception to "Til It Happens to You" and I kinda thought twice about it. There will have to be a lot of hype leading up to it. I honestly think if gaga could do something similar to Justin Bieber's comeback, that would be great. She should reveal herself to the world as Lady Gaga in 2016, leaving Lady Gaga 2013 in the past. Show the GP who Lady Gaga is now. I think she's an amazing version of herself and the GP needs to meet her.

The one plus that I've noticed is that the majority of people who didn't like her between 2009-2014, seem to like her now.

Really hard to say. I don't know how much the GP cares about C2C, AHS and the last public appearances, probably not half as much as we do on GD. I don't really see a build up for a broad audience. I hope for a top 5 single.

Over here in Germany it's pretty quiet about Gaga. The last thing I read was a stupid article about who is same age as Gaga and how they surprised they were that she is still under 30... Not a very nice thing to say.

TIHTY is a song that we all knew for 1 year or something.Nobody  was excited about it..I am surprised that it even got that attention

Debut most likely no. Peak yes. Plus timing is everything. What do you mean managed to hit #1 with approx. 330k in sales I think. Gaga is way behind when it comes to streaming and airplay. A decent radio deal along with a simple music video and she just might top the hot 100.
