Because too much stuff happens all the time, she doesn't need to talk about it.

Plus there's nothing but just embarrassment coming from the riots recently so no need to talk about it.

hop on that **** like a maniac

She really can't afford to make controversial statements right now and any statement about those topics, no matter how nicely put, can easily bite her in the ass.

Tweets will help, shedding light on a serious issue will bring attention to the fact that this issue is one that needs to be openly discussed.

And your honest 'opinion' is to leave blacks to deal with black issues?

no? :grr: i dont know the answer to your original question, i just said it because you said i couldn't. #rebelheart

Remember that you are unique. Like everyone else.

lol, isnt gaga a white pop star from a well off family?

i'm sure the rioters will listen to her message and stop this violence :green:

She is barely active on twitter lately, and I personally feel like she doesn't have to speak her opinion on every single thing that happens in the world. There is so much stuff happening "behind the curtain" every single day and no one pays attention to that.

Perhaps she doesn't feel that it's her place to comment, or that her thoughts are unnecessary on the issue. Which is fair enough - it's not her responsibility to comment on every social issue that is relevant. Sometimes it's okay to not butt in and give your two cents. If she were to choose to speak about it, then that's cool too. I'm sure she'd have an intelligent and thoughtful response.

I'm sure we can all guess how she probably feels about these issues without her commenting.

I honestly don't like when pop stars make political statements, they can easily turn against them

Again, ignorance. I never said I thought she could end rioting or trigger world peace, but continue to be childish...

I'm hoping it's because she recognizes her lack of knowledge on race issues and doesn't care to throw her views around when she isn't sure of the big picture.

Maybe this is the case? This could be possible.

I remember she tweeted once #PrayForFerguson but that's it.

She's busy with her chickens.

Shes barely on social media except instagram. I always felt like celebrities tweeting about those issues didn't really help awareness. If Gaga tweeted about it, it wouldn't really do much. It would be one thing if she actually joined the riot against racism but she doesn't have time to do that. We all know she's against racism or any form of prejudice anyway since she sometimes tweets #EqualityForAll. At the end of the day she's a pop star and has other things to do like tour, write and record her next album, come up with concepts, ideas, etc, see her family, spend time with her fiance, enjoy her life because she needs it after a rough 3 years.
