The parents of Mr. Gray can not have a day in peace of remembering their own son, along with other family members and friends. How are Mr. Gray's family going to remember this day?When their a few bad cops - they deserve to be called out. Protest in peace.The actual protesters left.The people now are doing all the trouble of destroying are not protesters but thugs. I guess the thugs also called in the gangs to destroy the city as well. Does this make any sense. Why destroy your city. Why make a man's funeral day so shameful? The guy in S.C. who got murdered while running away, that family and their friends all got fvcked over. The people who fight for 'black lives matter' and the normal black people who aren't to blame. Hopefully this won't affect the overall view that the rest of America has about blacks. like a cat in a sil, I observe life, moving and still. No.I agree with you about peaceful protests, but at the same time you have to be able to sympathize with their rage. One of their peers, a healthy young man, was so brutalized by the police that his spinal cord was severed and his larynx crushed. It's mostly young people rioting. If I were a teacher in a Baltimore high school I would start distributing essays and speeches by Martin Luther King Jr., Mahatma Gandhi, and Bayard Rustin. These kids need to be inspired and use their passion constructively. Looting aside I think their hearts are in the right place. I don't know if throwing rocks at police officers hurts their cause, and I don't know if a peaceful protest would garner more attention, but ultimately nonviolent resistance is the way to go. They are doing it because they have an excuse to do it and think they can get away with it without being arrested.They don't actually care. Most of them have no idea what to care about.
