I thought that those were tread like seperate movies and weren't filmed at the same time .... like The hunger game mockinjay pt 1 and 2

Both parts for Deathly Hallows were filmed at the same time. Don't really know for Twilight

well idk but soon they have to start killing off people and not QS kinda lackluster deaths were they introduce character that is non event the whole movie and they kill him for the sake of it

they should start killing charaters because soon it will become too crowded with GOTG leading to IW, with Daredevil taking part in CW, with BP with SM coming with Mrs.Marvel etc etc etc

at least they could get rid off of the sidekicks (WM.Falcon  etc.)

In that case they can sacrifice Hawkeye first. :fat:

I would actually like to see Natasha's reaction if that happens.

lol I was ready for him to die in A2 to that was my biggest concern about this movie they spend half of the moive builiding him and in the end killed completely diff character that was such waste of screen time tbh like I needed to know his wife or sth, at least when u show me that makes sure that it was worth showing it :awkney:

Marvel =/= Hollywood :proud:

the MCU was launched in 2008 from independent film studio, Hollywood had no say in bringing the Avengers to the big screen

Turn it the way you like, actual indie movies don't cost $200,000,000

Let's hope they just do something promising and worth the hype.

not it will give start of Phase 4 of the MCU with the first film of Phase 4 being Inhumans (July 12, 2019), so don't worry it won't be soon until the end

I thought Inhumans was still part of Phase 3, at least according to the timeline they provided.

Maybe I'm wrong though.

That still doesn't mean that independent or low budgeted movies are superior and better.

Yes, these movies are the definition of blockbusters, but as Pure Adrenaline said, they made the move to an independent studio owned by them for purely creative reasons, to better control their properties and cohesively build a universe. The amount of work that goes into these movies is insane and is created by a group of people who love these properties for the fans. What everybody in Hollywood did or tried to do afterwards, that is creating a shared universe out of all their major franchises for the sake of it because it worked for Marvel, that sums up everything that's wrong with Hollywood today.

Can somebody explain the different phases to me please.

Originally I think the plan was to end each phase with an Avengers movie but that's not the case anymore

Phase one is Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2 , Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger and The Avengers

Phase two is Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant-Man

Phase three (starts next year) is Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, Guardians 2, Spider-Man, Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Inifity War (Part One), Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Avengers: Inifintity War (Part Two) and Inhumans (maybe that's the kick off of phase four, idk)

My favorite movie is The Lord of the Rings, so you're preaching to the converted dude. I never said that indie films were automatically better than big budget films.

As for the MARVEL universe, well... It mustn't be for me I guess. Planning an entire decade of releases is nothing but blatant money-grabbing to me. And by the way, Iron Man 3 and Avengers managed to put me to sleep - that's how captivating and original I find those films. I did enjoy many of those, bot those infinite non-spontaneous sequels just bore me. It's like seeing the same thing over and over again, and pardon me, but the fear of original ideas is very much Hollywoodian.

well Marvel is doing movie based on Marvel comics so as much as it goes it still a original idea because they did not buy rights to novels or children books and made 6 action movies out of them or sth like that they are still using their original material that was created by their writes and directed by their directors and FUI Iron Man 2008 was directed by indie director back then it was Hollywood hired or sth like that

u can't just put them into one category or make them unoriginal just because u didn't enjoy them u have to be a little more objective

and planing their universe 10 years ahead doesn't mean that they did it with money on their mind because at first they didn't even know if it will work or not but they still put the post-credit NF scene in IM and Tony post credit scene in  Hulk .... if those movies had flopped everyone would have been making fun of Marvel for trying to make cinematic universe but failing to do so and if the IM was Hollywood made I'm, pretty sure it wouldn't be the success that turn out to be because it was ver different at the time it was released and that's why it worked out so well and the fact that they have a plan doesn't make them greedy

I don't think IM will die in Civil War.

It is.more likely AM and IM will set their differences than killing each other.

In fact, in the comics, one of them died because of another people sent by Redskull.
