I actually think the DWUW is a little bit more intelligent than many people give it credit for. It is very ARTPOP but I think many people are only familiar with the pop side and are maybe a little distracted by the s-xual elements.I don't think the label wanted it released. There was a LOT of controversy over Terry at the time and R.Kelly is a controversial figure himself. Gaga made it clear she didn't care if it leaked, I think she believes in the video, I just don't think her management and/or label wanted her to release it because of the potential for huge backlash.
