gagzus 15,931
I'm not here for songs about feminism. The Beyoncé comparisons would be overwhelming.who honestly cares about comparisons if she truly believes in the message tbh
Head Empty 25,196
Wasn't ARTPOP largely about that as well though? A lot of the songs share these themes. Happiness will never last, darkness comes to kick your ass... ᵃˢˢ 🕺

ARTPOPchamp 292
I say that because, I feel lately Lady Gaga is making it a point to show herself on her days off and living life. Just enjoying her life before it's over. And she's tweeted about how she feels people should turn off twitter and social media and go out and enjoy the world, enjoy life and enjoy people. ARTPOPchamp 292
And also, Lady Gaga described G.U.Y. as a unification of art and pop and a total pop acid trip reflecting various images we may recognize from pop culture and art. I think that will carry on to the next era, but that is what Gaga has been doing from the beginning - uniting art and pop and images from the past. She'll unite images and music and art and fashion from the past and present and bring them into the future.
