Cody Draco 2,531 Posted April 24, 2015 Share Posted April 24, 2015 Gaga's discography is made up of predominently short song titles.She has tons of one word titles (Paparazzi, Alejandro, Telephone, Speechless, Teeth, Judas, Americano, Aura, Venus, ARTPOP, Gypsy, etc.) and also tons of two word titles (Just Dance, Poker Face, The Fame, Brown Eyes, Money Honey, Government Hooker, Sexxx Dreams, etc.).She has less titles that are 3 words and up (Dance in the Dark, So Happy I Could Die, Mary Jane Holland, Do What U Want, etc.)This doesn't need to be limited to just Gaga, so in general do you prefer songs with shorter titles or longer titles?As in, do you like the look and feel of shorter titles or longer titles? I love song titles like "Aura" or "Venus" but I also enjoy titles like "I've Got A Dark Alley And A Bad Idea That Says You Should Shut Your Mouth (Summer Song)". A Little Less Sixteen Candles, a Little More "Touch Me" 2. Get Busy Living or Get Busy Dying (Do Your Part to Save the Scene and Stop Going to Shows) 3. I'm Like a Lawyer With the Way I'm Always Trying to Get You Off (Me & You) 4. My Songs Know What You Did In the Dark (Light Em Up) 5. Headfirst Slide Into Cooperstown on a Bad Bet 6. I've Got All This Ringing In My Ears and None on My Fingers And my favorite ones: 7. Our Lawyer Made Us Change the Name of This Song So We Wouldn't Get Sued 8. I've Got a Dark Alley and a Bad Idea That Says You Should Shut Your Mouth (Summer Song) 9. I Slept With Someone in Fall Out Boy and All I Got Was This Stupid Song Written About Me (That last one is giving me Taylor Swift teas: "I Slept With Taylor Swift and All I Got Was A Stupid Song Written About Me" a.k.a. "Dear John".) And a lot more. This is already a signature on their albums. The fans are always expecting at least one long ass song title on their albums, which btw we didn't got on AB/AP.
