A war started by an Argentinian dictator, and his defeat helped bring democracy to Argentina.Thatcher was far more justified than Blair with his wars in Kosevo and Iraq. Territory that had clearly belonged to Britain for 150 years, whose inhabitants wanted to be British, was attacked and invaded. So what if it was historically disputed - you can just militarily grab land based on some ancient historical claim. Not from a UN Security Council member like Britain.The "point" is that territorial disputes can't be solved by simply invading your neighbour. Margaret Thatcher is one of the most inspiriting and trail blazing women of all time despite if you agree or disagree with her politics.
