craig 680 Posted April 21, 2015 Share Posted April 21, 2015 in my opinion Jessie J is the closest thing that the UK has to gaga... they have a lot of things in common.Both of them wrote for other musicians before starting their solo careers. Both of them are rather versatile and have shown talents in pop, dance and ballads (I think gaga trumps Jessie J here though). Both of them are extremely vocally talented and their live singing is often thought to be their biggest asset.âYou could add that Jessie J was bullied in school, and she related to her fans much as Gaga did in 2010-11. Neither girl is conventionally beautiful. Gaga also identified as Bi but primarily has hetero relationships.The difference is Jessie J never had her own distinct sound, and she likes to oversing. Her voice annoys a lot of people much like Xtina. She hasn't found an original winning formula for her music.
