squeala 875 Posted April 16, 2015 Share Posted April 16, 2015 btw if anyone hasn't heard, crystal castles is now ethan kath's solo project. alice left in october. these aren't alice's vocals.i wish my former vocalist the best of luck in her future endeavors. i think it can be empowering for her to be in charge of her own project. it should be rewarding for her considering she didn't appear on Crystal Castles' best known songs. (she's not on Untrust Us. And I had no idea Alice's vocals were not even on so many tracks If that's not her voice then whose is it? Does Ethan have the voice of a fallen lo-fi glitch angel from the 9th dimension? Now my question is, if Alice didn't make the beats OR write the lyrics/provide the vocals to many tracks, where exactly do her talents lie and what tf is she going to be doing for her solo project? Alice did write the lyrics and sing on a very large portion of their songs with lyrics and almost all of them where the lyrics aren't a sample from another song. Don't discredit her, but it always was, and will always remain, Ethan's band.
