Was Partynaseous a hit?

The song is not only rave / acid electro  but has also an urban flavour. It has so much potential - at least the version we heard in may 2014 at ArtRave.

Gaga could snatch so many wigs with good and edgy production plus psychedelic video.

It would be so sad to let it just sleep - really, Rihannas "We Found Love" is a song where the people go crazy and just want to  rave, "PARTYNAUSEOUS" goes in the same direction but in a much cooler and tougher way. People would love it, i get so many positive feedback for this piece from so many people, many from them don't hear pop music. They love it.

It would eat up "We Found Love" :legend:

Why ? It's a serious theme in a fun packaging. The lyrics have meaning and are not cheap IMO

"High with the enemy" is a pretty cool formulation.

it was Barney level featuring alcohol, d--g and s-x references. But Barney level nonetheless.

It was never intended to be her single though... It was Kendrick's... and what you have to understand is that his fanbase might not be pleased with that. That's probably what the whole debate surrounding the song was all about which ultimately lead to the sons demise.

It would get the GP hyping though. The Ace of Base touch was AMAAAAZING

this fanbase doesn't know good rap or trap music if it hit them in the head ... hence why jewels n d--gs gets so much hate

The artrave version is completely different than the Kendrick version that was supposed to be released in 2012. There are multiple versions of the song by different producers.

So what we would have gotten would not have sound like what he have heard.

There's the original version produced by T-Minus which is Kendrick featuring Gaga

Then Gaga's solo Version produced by Fernando Garibay (possibly still co-produced by T-Minus)

The original artRAVE version produced by Fernando (again, possibly still co-produced by T-Minus)

And the second artRAVE version, commonly referred to as the 'Rock Version'

Yup! Thank you for explaining that haha. I didn't feel like typing it out.

T-Minus about PARTYNAUSEOUS:

From what I understand, it seemed like they [Gaga’s camp] had a direction they wanted to go in and Kendrick and I had a different direction. It just so happened that it didn’t go through. All parties have to agree. I saw it as a great opportunity for Kendrick to get a record from Gaga but if they can’t make that approval then hey, it can’t go through. But the beat is hot as ****. I promise you.

------------

There were two different visions and not an original T-Minus production.

Garibay posted PARTYNAUSEOUS on Instagram in summer 2012 and Kendricks team didn't like it.

On a scale of 10 this would be a 3. This sounds absolutely terrible. The backing track is just blatantly taken from Bed Rock. But who knows the public might just like it.

it could've been bad romance 2 if it was released in 2012

People hate what they don't understand.
