Hello I'm a new fan since ARTPOP. I feel like it was so underrated

ARTPOP is one of Gaga's best. you can actually really hear the jazz influence in everything she does. She is made of music and jazz.

Because it put the ART in front of the POP but all that really gets attention these days is the POP so people searched up and down for the ART and when they couldn't see it on the surface they stopped trying and decided to bash it. It takes actual intelligence to see what ARTPOP is about.

Rebel Heart was bad, it sounds bad and Madonna tried to look like Gaga she dyed her hair grey I think lol :)

For me, I do not enjoy conventional dance pop.

So Venus was the only conventional dance pop song I liked on the album. Other than that, aura, dwuw, gypsy, dope, ARTPOP were great tracks for me. 

In my opinion, It was only not as good as Born This Way. I liked ARTPOP more than TFM, TF.

She might not release many videos off ARTPOP but her songs are good. Still hoping she released the Do What You Want video one day. I thought they filmed it already :)

A lot of people here like ARTPOP, the thing is, many hate the way it perfomed, along with lack of promo and other things.

As for me, I love it. It's not her best album, but it isn't worst.

I , too , agree it was underrated.

It should have had an "ARTPOP -- THE REMIX" album as the others did.

But one of our members made one, I would recommend it highly!

ARTPOP was a good album . It helped me through a dark period in my life and helped me to cope with my anger issues. She saved me. im glad she saved you too. Gaga is the queen of the little monsters

The disappointment wasn't so much in the music, but how the era was handled by her label and ex-team

Single choices that were planned were scrapped and changed...the gaps between the single eras also was too long to where people forgot about ARTPOP 

There was a lack of promo as far as longevity...she did a lot for Applause but DWUW had very little and GUY was non existent due to her touring...

The tour was also fun and had a party atmosphere but definitely an obvious downgrade compared to other tours from her...

And overall the constantconstant negative media and comparisons to Katy ruined the albums credibility in the eyes of the GP...

A great album and the potential it had were ruined to elements truly out of Gaga's control...Troy was dumped as her manager, Gaga was constantly bombarded with bad press, and promo and singles fell weak

Overall I loved the album and the potential it could've had, but based on the expectations of the promises Gaga told us about...we were disappointed. No Telephone continuation...no DWUW video (I could care less), no Venus single...lack of promo, failed APP, ACT II, ARTPOP documentary, etc

I was truly better album of 2013-2014. I know somebody will disagree but I feel like it is more cohesive than the Fame :)

Yes . There should have been more good press around ARTPOP . But i still think its very cool and exciting album.
